I am an attorney representing clients in all areas of probate law, including estate and trust administration, guardianship, estate planning, and litigation.

Estate Administration

I assist families with the process of transferring assets after a loved one has passed away, whether through an estate or a trust. I guide the Executor, Administrator, or Trustee through the process, helping them complete their job in a responsible and efficient manner.

Guardianship

I help clients obtain guardianship of loved ones who are not able to care for themselves or their finances. Guardianship can be established for individuals who have a mental incapacity such as Alzheimer’s disease or for children under the age of 18.

Former Probate Magistrate

I served as a Magistrate at the Hamilton County Probate Court, where I oversaw the administration of estates and guardianships, presided over trials, and issued rulings in contested cases. This experience gives me a unique perspective that is valuable in counseling my clients throughout their cases.

I proudly serve as Of Counsel to the law firm of Barrett & Weber, a firm with a 30-year history of providing exceptional service to its clients. In this capacity, I have a continuing relationship with the firm where I assist attorneys C. Francis Barrett and H. Patrick Weber with many of their cases.

I am certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law. The OSBA certification recognizes attorneys who possess an enhanced level of skill and expertise in a practice area. In order to obtain certification as a specialist, I completed a rigorous application process and passed a written examination.
